NEW NEW NEW 🚨☕️
NEW JAR ANNOUNCEMENT: NO WASTE COFFEE CARAMEL!
This one’s been brewing in the background for a little while…
We’ve been trying to come up with our next caramel flavour, and one day, watching the team make coffee, we noticed all those beautiful, aromatic coffee grounds getting whacked straight into the knock box. Such a waste…
Then came the thought… “Hold on - could those spent coffee grounds make a delicious caramel?”
Turns out, YES. 🙌
So here it is: our No Waste Coffee Caramel - made using the spent coffee grounds from our coffee. We leave the grounds right there in the caramel too, giving it a proper hit of coffee flavour.
And before you ask… no, it’s not gritty and horrible. Quite the opposite - that little bit of texture is actually VERY welcomed, in our opinion. 😏
And then came a pretty lovely surprise… 🥇
Pretty much as soon as we’d finished developing it, we sent a jar off to the Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards to see what the judges thought.
AND IT WON A GREAT TASTE AWARD 🌟
Safe to say, we were over the moon.
