Highlight of 2023 at noglü!

This afternoon we were super excited as someone from the stadium turned up to buy 6 arepas for 's backing dancers.

Almost as thrilling (well er not quite on the same level as Queen Bey) from Wednesday we will be making Arepa Pabellón Criollo:

A warm arepa (cornbread) filled with flank steak slow cooked with onions, garlic, herbs and spices and shredded, then topped with black beans and fried plantain and finished off with grated white cheese.

Hope everyone is having a great time at the stadium.

Not sure what these are called yet but I can tell you what they are: a layer of blondie covered in raspberry buttercream and then topped with a layer of raspberry blondie. Then coated with rich dark chocolate and topped with freeze dried raspberries.

Born out of experimentation over Christmas as I attempted to make inroads into my cheese mountain, they went down so well with my family that I decided to put them on the menu.
