Pub theatre is still the vision, so, as we search for our next home, we continue to be a producer of intimate and bold plays in spaces where theatre ought not exist across Wales.

Who’s in the mood for a bit of history?

We’re thrilled to say that we still have tickets left for our community sharing of ‘Lost Tigers’ by Sadia Kidwai. This project has been years in the making and for three nights only we will be offering a sneak peek at EYST Cardiff Community Hall.

Join us for an intimate evening of story telling that tells a forgotten chapter in the history of Butetown…

‘Lost Tigers’
16th - 18th August

🚨Youth Arts Festival is Back! 🚨
Young Artists Festival is a week-long artist development programme for young people aged 18+

Each year we bring together around 40 actors, writers, director and stage managers for an intense, week-long festival, where we support and guide them to create a series of short play for public performance.

YAF is returning for the first time since 2022.
📆YAF 2026 will take place between March 30th - April 4th.

📆Deadline to apply is by 9th of January 2026 at midday.

💵The fee to participate is £120 per person to take part in the festival. This includes:
🌟5 Industry masterclasses (at least!)
🌟1 Creative masterclass
🌟4 performance opportunities

Subsidised and free spaces are available for those who could not afford it otherwise.
What’s more - the box office takings for the 4 shows are split between all participants, given them a true feel of life working in ‘fringe’ theatre.

Apply online - https://www.otherroomtheatre.com/yaf

"With an outstanding leading performance from Mica Williams, the play raised important questions about homelessness and whether or not there truly is some other-wordly being watching out for us."

"...Accompanied by the incredibly talented Osian Lloyd and François Pandolfo, who had mastered multirole, the trio didn’t let the weather or the subject matter stop them from delivering a moving interpretation of the play and its characters."
