ARE YOU READY TO GET YOUR HALF MARATH-ON?

This weekend is one of our favourite in the whole calendar, you’ve trained for this, you’ve planned for this and now it’s time to leave it all on the line and run the streets of Cardiff… We’ll be there cheering (and caffeinating where necessary) you on the whole way!

The cabin will be opening a couple of hours earlier on the Saturday for the post run rewards after family races and we have even earlier start time on the big day, opening at 7am in line with the runners village. The Wall will be close behind, opening at 8am this year.

If you’re running, whether we’re lucky enough to see you or not, BEST OF LUCK from the whole team at Brodies.

If you are looking for an oasis of calm away from the chaos, we’ve got you there too, Heath will be open 9-5 with counters heaving with sweet treats and delicious coffees.

PASTURES NEW

It was our absolute pleasure to host Clare Balding at The Wall today for the launch of her new book “Pastures New” How many authors would take the time to go on a dog walk around the park and then meet everyone for coffee and a chat? A very very wholesome way to end the week, if you haven’t read any of Clare’s books yet, do yourself a solid and put them on the list!

We know you’ve missed the soup, (we even were getting requests in mid heatwave!) so we had to make the first soup back an iconic one. And if there is a better soup than butternut squash, we’ve yet to find it.

ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN ✨

The trees are slowly changing their colours, the air has a slight bite to it, knitwear is being dug out of the wardrobes and the evenings are getting darker…so Lauren Clement | Murals | WindowArt 💫 has got her paints out again and our windows have been given an Autumnal glow up! 🎃

Kinda sad that even though it’s a lot of people’s favourite season, it only takes the limelight for a matter of weeks before the C word takes over everything (no, the other one 🎅) So we’re going to make the absolute most of Autumn while it’s here, watch this space over the next couple of weeks for new drink and food specials… 🍂

Not ready to let go just yet? Our Summer Specials are still on in the meantime, come get your fizzy strawberry lemonades and tiramisu iced lattes whilst you still can!

Annie has done it again! Our new brownie on the counters at the Wall is another masterpiece, gooey, fudgy and coffee-ee, absolutely PERFECT accompaniment to a mocha… but we’ll let you buy it with any drink really.

FALL BACK

Now that Autumn has entered the chat we’ve made a slight tweak to our hours with all shops closing at 5pm moving forward.

Pro tip: Our baristas LOVE it when you come and get 4 mochas, each with different milks and syrups and topped with cream at 455pm. Love it. Loooooove it. 👀
