🚕 We would like to remind members of the public how to report any unlawful and problematic taxi drivers that may be over charging or refusing fares.

If a taxi driver claims the journey is too short and is within the Cardiff boundary, they are in breach of their licence and you should report it.

If you are travelling within the Cardiff boundary, all fares have to be charged on the meter and you only pay the price that is shown on the meter. If you are leaving the Cardiff boundary, then you have to agree a fee with the driver up front, before you travel, and this forms a verbal contract between the customer and the taxi driver.

Have you been refused a taxi due to a short fare that is within the Cardiff boundary? Please report these incidents to [email protected] as soon as possible along with the following information:

📷✏️ take a note/photo of the driver number (on the front of the windscreen)
🚖 the vehicle registration number
🚖 the license plate number
📆 the date, time and where the incident happened

REWARD FOR LOST PHONE!! REWARD FOR LOST PHONE !!! LOST IN LLANRUMNEY/ OLD ST MELLONS ON NEWPORT ROAD!!!! Has anyone seen or found a white Samsung Galaxy Lite Trend phone in a white flip case (case has a cartoon dragon sticker on the front) between the Fox & Hounds Pub and the Bluebell Inn Pub in St Mellons Cardiff on Newport Road!!??? Lost it around 8:30-9pm on Tuesday 2nd February 2016!!!! it has a University of South Wales Student Card in the case pocket student card has my name and picture (Zoe O'Neill) in the phone case is also an orange Natwest Credit Card !!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE !!!! if anyone has seen it or picked it up can you contact me !!!! the phone has pictures going back 5+ years on it !!! including Wedding photos, graduation photos, family holidays and birthdays, parties, family members who have passed away, funeral photos ect allllllllll very important to me and that i DO NOT have backups of other copies of!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE !!!! keep your eyes open !!!! REWARD FOR ANYONE WHO FINDS IT!!!!
