Caesars Arms Farm Shop was created as a local haven where locals and regulars of the hugely popular

Caesars Arms Farm Shop was created as a local haven where locals and regulars of the hugely popular Caesars Arms Restaurant could purchase top quality, locally sourced ingredients within their own community. Originally opened in 2008, the shop has grown very organically and now rears its own chickens and pigs which live happily in front of the shop, surrounded by beautiful Welsh countryside. You c

an purchase daily delivered fresh fish, award winning meats including Welsh Black beef, Brecon venison and lamb, Wye Valley free range chicken and duck. Our own home reared, rare breed, Saddle Back pork and sausage is regularly available. You can purchase our home produced honey collected from our own bee hives, choose your eggs from our free range selection- gathered daily from our own chickens, and pick up freshly prepared ready meals made by Caesars chefs. You can also savour salmon and duck from our in house smokery. A large array of freshly baked breads are delivered daily and we have a vast selection of Welsh and Continental cheeses, together with Gold Medal winning chutneys, pickles, jams and organic apple juices plus much more....

Good Afternoon ☀️

Just a short post to showcase some of the produce from our revived raised beds and polytunnel 🍀

Home grown heritage tomatoes, home grown basil infused in cold pressed rapeseed oil… the result is a delicious array of colour and tastes, freshly picked tomatoes, a drizzle of basil oil and topped with a feta crumb….now on our menu… a fabulous collaboration between gardeners and chefs.. 🍀

And…. The chillies are ripening too so watch this space for a homemade super hot sauce coming soon 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Good morning ☀️

There’s a busy buzz here as always prepping for a busy lunch and dinner 🙏

Emily and Rachel are setting up the counters.. fish looking amazing and desserts delicious… a particular favourite is Summer Pudding 🍓all served with smiles ☀️

Manager Mandy has concocted a particularly addictive summer cocktail ‘Cherry Bakewell’ perfect to sip on whilst relaxing with great company, freshly prepared food and our wonderful team Caesars ready to welcome you ☀️

Lots of our freshly picked produce from our garden is finding its way onto our menu.. can’t get fresher! 🍀

Good evening ☀️

We just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who popped by to support our Open Garden days, in association with the National Garden Scheme and in turn their numerous charities.

It was lovely to see new faces and to introduce them to Caesars, our farm shop and our kitchen garden endeavours, and of course thank you to our loyal friends and customers who are always so supportive.

Thank you to Sarah, Nick and Ian for taking visitors on tours and really highlighting our gardens and offering an insight into our ethos and future aims.

Thank you to our ‘crafters’ who came along and enjoyed the sunshine, chips, coffee and conversations, always an absolute delight and joy to catch up with our merry band ☀️

Hopefully we will plan more days like these… they really were delightful and an opportunity to relax and enjoy the outdoors and the glorious weather! ☀️

Good afternoon ☀️

We are busy getting our kitchen garden area ready for our open days this coming Friday and Saturday ☀️

All the entrance fees £5 per adult (children free) goes immediately to the National Garden Scheme and they in turn distribute it to their beneficiaries, please see the list attached.

We are very much in a renaissance/experimental period here, and we welcome your feedback (constructive please 😊) so we can plan ahead and really make the most of our space and growing opportunities ☀️

Our garden team.. Sarah, Nick and Ian will be here to answer any questions!

Refreshments will be available to buy in our farmshop and there is plenty of space to enjoy a coffee and cake!

Also we will have Oscar Wood Creations, Phil Amos Artist, Rachel Cartwright Slates, Kelly Lewis with Neal’s Yard and Jane Pottery Pieces joining in selling their wares ☀️

We hope you have been enjoying this amazing weather.. a fabulous opportunity to eat, drink and be merry outside in the sunshine.. a rare treat in this country!

We have been busy adding to our black and white ‘hall of fame’ photographs, previously of our wonderful managers
(more to come!) and now includes our hardworking chefs (more to come!)

New dishes have been popping up on our specials board (taking full advantage of our newly restored herb patch) and they are delicious!

Good Afternoon ☀️

As many of you will know we have been very busy restoring our raised beds/vegetable gardens. Originally built and beautifully looked after for 12 years by John Hall, who retired a few years ago, we now are in a garden growing renaissance!

We have replaced all the original raised beds and a new team is on board.. Sarah, Nick and Ian, and the transformation has been amazing.

Thank you to everyone who has followed our progress whilst popping into the farmshop or enjoying a picnic outside. Because of this genuine interest we are delighted to be part of the National Open Garden Scheme (allotment rather than flower/plant garden) showcasing our progress so far and hopefully an opportunity to explain our ethos of connecting with ‘real’ seasonal foods. We hope to sell any produce in our farmshop and supply the restaurant with salads and herbs to complement our dishes.

All entrance money is collected for the NGS. Refreshments are available to buy in the farmshop.

Our crafters will also be here with their stalls so hopefully the weather will be kind! ☀️
