Sundays and Bank holidays from 9am to 4pm.

This is the menu in use right now and it does get altered now and again to add or define other parts of the menu.
If suppliers raise by a lot it can make prices difficult but we continue to provide decent food at decent prices.
Our supplier has said that Eggs will raise quite significantly in the next week or so but we will work with that …

It’s corned beef pie season by the looks of it, somehow we are going to have to try and make more of our pies as they are so popular.

I have commissioned some art work for the upper wall in the Coffi House ……
The two unfinished paintings here will definitely be used and more will follow over time, if your lucky you may be able to buy a picture at some stage and we will see if we can find a way for other artists to use the cafe for promoting their work.
So for now these paintings are from local artists also known as my Daughters Nerys and Eira ……

What am I doing !!!!!!

As many of you would have seen I have done quite a bit of work to the front of the cafe so far with a fair bit left to do until I get it as I want it.
But you may be wondering what I am doing about the inside of the cafe itself.
The previous owners did next to nothing for a long time so the cafe is in need of some good solid work to make it as good as it should be.
I promise you all it will retain its character as is with some small but good alterations.
The whole cafe will be refurbished over time with plenty of clean painting and tiles on the wall up to the rail, radiators removed and the floor renovation at some stage too.
Obviously this will take some time and financial commitment but we will do it and hopefully this will ensure a good future for what I believe is a genuine top notch cafe.
So keep tuned and keep supporting us and we will keep improving The Coffi House for everyone.

I guess that along the line some of our stuff will be “taken” by some customers but it was amusing to have rumbled one person take our shell shaped ash tray and another take a tea mug ….
Amusing in that my wife calmly followed them and asked if they would like to give it back….
They both handed their trophy back 😂

The next section of the frontage is now fixed in place with just one more to go above this , as you can see I had to fix the gas indicator and the fire hydrant indicator to this section.
Changed some Downlights on the serving counter also.
Today was also a fantastic day at the cafe with our record for the busiest day being broken again, some great talks and a pleasure to see everyone who came in.
Thank you all for making this cafe such a wonderful place.

Wibbly wobbly….
The cross beam at the front reflects the characteristic features of the cafe front as the woodwork has aged where it has few straight lines, so when painting there is no real point in trying to paint straight as it would look daft.
So I paint freehand to suit the contours.
Also taking off the right hand side now and fixing the roller shutters to the wall instead of to the wood, brackets and bolts to fix them.
