Our Paint & Sip evening at Ainon has officially SOLD OUT!

Thank you so much to everyone who has booked. We can’t wait for a fabulous evening of painting, sipping and having fun together!

Missed out? Don’t worry! We’re delighted to announce that our next Paint & Sip evening will be on Friday 13th November!

Tickets go on sale Monday 12th October, so pop the date in your diary and be quick to grab your place!

We are so lucky to have this valuable service on our doorsteps without needing a trip into town.
The hub will now only be open between 10am-12pm, no appointment is needed. There’s never a queue but if you find you have a short wait, head into the main hall to grab a cuppa and cake and see us at Renew. 😊

We’re really fortunate to have a Citizens Advice drop-in every Wednesday at Ainon, saving you a trip into Cardiff city centre.

You can pop in for free, confidential and impartial advice on all sorts of everyday issues, including:

⚡ Energy bills
💼 Work & employment
📄 Forms, letters and paperwork
🛍️ Consumer problems
…and lots more.

No appointment is needed, simply pop in and have a chat.

We’d really love to see our local community making use of this brilliant service. The more it’s used, the better chance we have of keeping advice available locally. 💙

Renew Walk – Wednesday 7th October

Join Andy for a gentle guided walk around beautiful Tongwynlais, slowing down, taking notice of our surroundings and discovering a little about the flora and fauna along the way.
Meet outside The Lewis Arms, Tongwynlais at 9.30am

If you don’t fancy the walk this month, then pop into Renew Café from 10am–12pm at Ainon back hall for organised arts & crafts or bring your own projects to work on, sit in our quiet meditation space or help complete a puzzle. There’s always plenty of tea, coffee and cake.

Come for the walk, the café, or both, everyone’s welcome! 😊

You don’t need to be artistic at all! You’ll be guided step-by-step to create your own masterpiece to take home.

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at Renew again on Wednesday morning from 10am–12pm.

Come along for arts and crafts, table activities, table football, meditation room, and of course plenty of tea, coffee and cake. Whether you fancy joining in with an activity or simply sitting down for a cuppa and a chat, you’ll always find a friendly welcome.

Citizens Advice Drop-In from 10am–4pm
Jaye from Citizens Advice will be available in the side room for our drop-in clinic. Sadly, we’ll also be saying goodbye to Jaye as she heads off to her new job. We wish her all the very best! The good news is that Citizens Advice will continue to provide our weekly drop-in clinic with another member of their team, so please share the word to our community as if we don't use it, we lose it.

Cuppa with a Copper from 11am to 12pm
Our local police team will also be joining us in the main hall, if there’s anything you’d like to chat to them about, please drop in for an informal, friendly conversation over a cuppa.

Everything is free and everyone is welcome, just pop along. 💛

Renew is on tomorrow from 10am–12pm at Ainon Baptist Church back hall.

Come along for a relaxed morning with arts and crafts, table activities, pool, our quiet meditation room, and of course plenty of tea, coffee and cake.

If you’re working on a project at home, patchwork, sewing, knitting or another craft, feel free to bring it along and work on it with us, we always have a table set aside for projects like this..

We’re also starting a special poppy craft project tomorrow to help St Michael's Church, Tongwynlais (in advance) with their Remembrance Sunday display. If you have any empty plastic bottles you can bring along, we’d really appreciate them.

Don't forget Jaye from Citizen advice is here with us during Renew and also during foodbank collection in the afternoon until 4pm. Jaye loves visitors so if you need any advice about housing, employment, foodbank vouchers etc please pop in. No appointment is needed and there's not usually a queue but feel free to join us for a cuppa if you do have to wait a few minutes.

Renew is completely free, there’s no need to book, and everyone is welcome. Just pop along, we’d love to see you. 💛

It’s a relaxed, café-style space where you can come as you are. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, or you can simply sit, have a cuppa and a chat.

There’s always plenty of tea, coffee and cake, a friendly welcome and a safe space to spend a couple of hours in good company.

Come on your own, bring a friend, stay for the whole morning or just pop in for a little while.

I little look at this mornings activities at a quieter moment whilst some were out in the prayer meditation room and others were on our wellbeing walk (1st Wednesday of the month)
