BYE SKYE 👋 (our team member, not the island)
At the weekend we said our farewells to Skye Atkinson, our brilliant FOH team member who has been with us since she started work experience when she was 13 years old! She started off building toasties and sandwiches in the corner of the kitchen, as quiet as a mouse but always smiling and absorbing everything around her. 5 years on, she has become a core member of the FOH team, serving customers, being a barista and even managing the queue out the door without breaking a sweat (which we think is quite impressive for a 17 year old).
It’s always tough seeing a great person go, but we are so proud of her getting into her university of choice to study Physiotherapy. Perhaps she can return and sort out all of our hospitality hamstrings once qualified 😅
Thank you for everything Skye, we will miss you being around 🫶🫶🫶
