Stir has now arrived in CB4 - offering a great range of locally sourced food and drink. Nearly 100 seats inside means there will always be space and we'll have over 40 seats outside too. Stir is owned by local residents and so will look to reflect the needs of the people of the area and support local groups.

You can now buy Stir Bakery bread, pastries and cakes from our sister restaurant Marvin’s on Mill Road.
This is our Second Chance Sourdough, made by re-fermenting a small amount of bread that returns to the bakery at the end of service each day. It helps us reduce waste and, rather handily, creates a loaf with an even deeper sourdough flavour.
Available at your local Stir and Marvin’s Mill Road.

We’re looking for a Trainee Baker to join the Stir Bakery team.
This is a hands-on role working alongside our bakery team, learning how we produce everything from breads to pastries for our cafés.
The role:
* Based at our Bakery Unit near Cambridge North.
* Includes weekend work and night shifts
* Flexible hours and days required
* Some experience preferred, but not essential
You’ll need a good work ethic, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
If you’re interested in getting into baking properly, we’d love to hear from you.
