On the flip end of yesterday’s post, showing off another beer is the cask ale: Top Lock (Langton Brewery Crafting Great Ales in Market Harborough)!

A firm favourite of another member of staff at The Blue, this session Golden Ale is light bodied, smooth and citrusy with a slightly bitter finish - a perfect thirst quencher to enjoy in our beer garden whilst the sun is out!

Fancy going the extra mile? Pair this with one of Rosie’s famous pickled egg for a real summer treat!🍻❤️

One that visits The Blue on keg every so often is the DEYA Brewery Magazine Cover!

A firm favourite of our Assistant Manager, this hazy session provides a light body, crisp flavours of fruit and citrus. While the sun is out, this is the bad boy that can one can easily sink a couple of pints of - especially at just 4.2%ABV! 🍻👌🏻

Today is ! That may not ring a bell to you but allow us to break it down for you:

On this day in 1215, the Magna Carta was sealed and clause 35 states: “let there be throughout our kingdom a single measure for wine and a single measure for ale…”

We believe we serve a little more than a measure to our lovely customers and our awesome pub team smash this out of the park! From milds, pales and stouts to the most unique of offerings, we really do pride ourselves in being a real ale paradise and today is the most fitting day to celebrate that!

Join us this evening while the sun is out and join the national cheers at 7pm, feel free to tag us and use the hashtag, - we look forward to seeing you this evening!🍻👌🏻

Our love letter to , and all of our lovely customers who enjoy a dark beer:

We are so sorry for not acknowledging the Annual ‘Mild Month’ in May! Here at The Cambridge Blue, we love a Mild, a nice cool pint of tradition to give the taste buds some love. We believe Milds (and other dark beers) should be appreciated and celebrated more for how fantastic they are. After all, every month is Mild Month in the Real Ale Paradise that is our pub!

Jokes aside, we love a mild and have plenty of fascinating ones on as well as some intriguing ones soon to arrive to a cask near you (in the Blue)! Come on down, brave the elements and raise a pint of mild with us!🍻😘

Monday: Yesavage Mode ( ), a 5.5% Canadian IPA, fruity, hoppy and refreshing - brew-tiful booze to cure the Monday blues!

A gentle reminder that next month will also see the start of the Cambridge Beer Quarter! With many events to be advertised, they are not to be missed!

We are looking forward to our bartender, Callum, taking part in ‘Brave The Shave’ on the 26th July, the same day as and their fantastic range of tunes - this will be taking place at the pub so not to be missed! Tap the link (if reading this on Facebook) or check out our Instagram Bio to donate if you are able!

Now this, this is EPIC!

With some on now, others to shortly follow, we’ve got a fantastic selection of Milds, Bitters and other dark beers on to tickle those taste buds!

Darker beers not your vibe? Not a problem! We’ve also got a range of pales, IPA and more! They don’t call us the Real Ale Paradise for no reason 😜🍻
