Oh go on then!

Fasta Pasta Returns!

Is this the start of something big, a sweeping domination of the Cambridge food scene, or a one-off, mustn’t-miss, extravaganza? Only one way to find out and that’s by joining us at on Friday 19th August!!

So we’ve been away a while, we’re sorry. But on this night we’ll be dishing up some of our favourite dishes, as well as a delicious new side dish. We’re thrilled to be able to cook at The Lab, which if you haven’t been (where have you been?) is a stylish venue serving up creative cocktail concoctions🍸.

To celebrate our return, we’ll be offering a special side dish, the Ragu-stuffed Panzerotti! That’s reason enough to come along!

If you’re looking for your fresh pasta fix, contact The Lab to book a table! Tables may be available on the night depending on availability. No need to pre-order, but feel free to feast your eyes on the menu in the meantime!

NEW SIGNING✒️📋

Fasta Pasta was absolutely delighted to secure the loan signing of for one night only to celebrate our last event at as part of the limited pop-up series.

Maxine was once described by Paul Hollywood as “a definite star baker, more deserving of a handshake than any of the rabble we’ve had on GBBO.” She did not disappoint. Maxine’s choco and amaretto tarts and orange polenta cakes went down a treat, making Isaac extremely jealous in the process as his “famous” lemon tarts had lost the spotlight.

More importantly, it was awesome being able to cook with an old school-friend. We’re currently working on a lucrative offer to tempt her to put pen to paper on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Ciao a tutti! Roughly translated as “Mornin’ you lot” - it’s Friday, which means tomorrow it’s Saturday, which means it’s the last day of a pasta-filled August.

We’re back at tomorrow for another sold out event, serving up these gorgeous dishes again!

Remember, if you haven’t been able to book a table, you can find us on again tomorrow, so order yourself a finish at home pasta kit for the family. Choose between the spicy ‘nduja and mascarpone, a real fan favourite that combines heat and creaminess in perfect balance, or the squash and browned butter triangoli, uniquely rich in flavour and a treat on the eye too.

So let’s talk about last weekend at …

I took this picture as Isaac was putting the finishing touches on the last dish of the night. This was our busiest weekend so far by a country mile.

To think just a few months ago we were doing deliveries only and were serving a fraction of the number we served on Saturday. It felt pretty damn good to be doing a kitchen takeover at such a cool packed out pub. It was a proper test, and there was more than one occasion when we looked at each other across the kitchen, wiping our brows, and gave each other a knowing look of “bloody hell this is crazy.”

This week we’re back at Cambridge Cookery for another sold out event, meaning we’ll be back on Foodstuff too!!

Exciting news! This Saturday we’ll be appearing for a pop-up at a new venue - The Plough in Shepreth! ().

This is an awesome pub that is hosting some of Cambridge’s finest food companies (and us), as well as some of the area’s finest musicians and bands.

We’ll be serving this menu from 12-3pm for lunch and again at 6-9pm, when there’ll be live music.

No need to pre-order (but you can book a table), just swing by and grab some Fasta Pasta!

Hello, pasta lovers!

You may have noticed, being the avid FP followers that you are, that we’ve been a little quiet recently. It’s been a funny month for us, with Rob unfortunately catching Covid a few weeks ago, and then Isaac catching it just as Rob was finally free. So things have been a little restricted at FPHQ. Better now than in August I guess, because we’ve got a cracking month coming up!

Saturdays 14th and 28th August see us back at courtesy of - if you ask nicely there may be one or two spots left so message Elle if you’re interested! If you can’t secure a table but still want to satisfy that pasta craving, fear not! We’re very excited to announce we will be featuring on on these dates, bringing back our finish at hone pasta kits!

On 21st August, we will be at The Plough in Shepreth, a new venue for us that we’re so excited about! This will be much more street food style, smaller menu, just good grub with no need for pre-booking so come and get it. We’ll be offering a lunchtime and evening menu with more details soon!

We can’t wait to see you all again!!!

Agnolotti is a really bloody nice pasta shape. I’d say it’s key strength is it’s ability to hold a large amount of a delicious filling.

In fact, I’d say it’s up there with the top shapes.

WINNER WINNER PASTA DINNER.

After a forced hiatus from cooking as a result of having to self-isolate within my own house, meaning no kitchen access and a sofa bed, I’m back making pasta today. Back with a bang, zing and a hellll yes.

Agnolotti stuffed with roasted butternut squash, red pepper, garlic and sage, mixed with some harissa, ricotta and parmesan. This filling literally gave me warmth, comfort and a tingly good feeling in my belly. A mild heat mixed with the strong flavours from the roasted garlic and sage, but equal in measure with a smooth texture from the squash and ricotta.

I finished this off in a pan with some butter, sage and sweet drop peppers. The peppers I just saw in the fridge and fancied having some but that was a genius discovery - the sweetness they added made this the perfectly balanced dinner.

This featured in our deliveries previously and it will feature again sometime.

No reason for the song choice other than RIP Biz.

Looking forward to serving up this taste-bud tingling dish at our August pop-ups at . First date is sold out but still a couple of spots available for the Saturday 28th August evening.

This dish is the real deal - spicy ‘nduja sausage from and creeeaaamy mascarpone. Picture a cartoon character talking to their conscience - little red devil on one side, pearly white angel on the other - it’s the perfectly balanced dish.

We also have a new pop-up venue to announce for August. We are gassed to get back into it!
