After all the excitement with the eclipse, here's somthing else to get you excited about, my menu for this weekends eat Festivals here in calne- saturday 15th, 10am to 4pm.

You'll find me in the market place. With Still Sisters and Sunshine Graze | Bakery - the perfect combo, grab your bevy, grab your savouries and pop to me for a sweet treat 🥰 Although, sunshine grazes mango raspberry cake is 👨‍🍳💋

Now, as usual, none of this will be baked until Friday, for optimal freshness, and at this point I can't really take requests, unless somthing goes! So, I hope there is somthing you'd like to try. Lots of new things I've been saving for this weekend. 🥰🥰

It's a bit hot, isn't it!? So with that in mind, here's a few things to note:

- cake corner will only open on the 15th, due to changing hours of work and heavy beaking happening for the Eat festival, I've decided not to open on Friday. I hope you understand 🩷

Important things for keeping your cake looking as fab as when you picked it up!

🍰Transport the cake in a well-air-conditioned car.

🍰Keep the cake out of direct sunlight.

🍰Keep the box level and secure- no lap traveling or putting on a seat. Footwell or boot only.

⏰ Don't leave it sitting in the car
This is probably the BIG one!
Never leave a cake in a parked car, even for what feels like a short time. Cars can become extremely hot very quickly, and buttercream can soften, slide and melt.

Once you arrive home or at your venue.

🍰Get the cake somewhere cool and shaded.

🍰If possible, keep it refrigerated until closer to serving.

🍰Don't place it beside windows, radiators, ovens, heaters or other warm areas.

🍰Take it out shortly before serving rather than leaving it on display for hours.

I'm back from a weekend at the Newforest and all enquires should have now been replied to. If however you enquired today, I'll be replying to those messages later.
Some invoicing will also be issued today instead of my usual Thursday.
And finally, you can pick up Mamma Bakes treats from Cake Corner, 9am (187 Oxford road Calne) on Friday and at the eat Festivals in Calne this saturday 15th from 10am.
