Sunday Carvery Lunch is now fully booked - both for eat-in & take-away.

Don't forget we are always closed all day on Mondays.

Good morning - could someone please pop the sun back up there, need a bit of sunshine 🌞
Apologies in advance but I'm going to have a bit of a moan.
Yesterday, Sunday Carvery, a table of 6 just didn't show up. This was a booking I called back myself to confirm the booking, and was assured they were coming.
Just a phone call to let us know they weren't coming and we could have said yes to those looking for a table, just answering the phone when if they were running late to see if we needed to wait would have been nice.
Yes, I know things happen, but not 1 of 6 people could ring?
We are a small business running on tight margins like so many other businesses at this challenging time, and it hurts!
It's an insult to what we, and many others do.
So, unfortunately moving forward for Carvery we will now be taking a £5.00 per head deposit for any bookings for more than 4 people (regulars don't worry, if we know you, no deposit needed).
If you are thinking at any time, for any business, of not keeping your booking, do the decent thing, let them know!
Thanks for reading, and apologies for the moan, but really am saddened by this.

This Sunday 24th, carvery lunch is fully booked, no other food available.
Bar will close at 6pm.
Please note we do not open on Mondays even bank holiday ones.

Kitchen help required (17yrs+)
Part time position, mainly Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays. Daytime hours.
Usually a 4 hour shift.
Seasonal position, available till October.
Position involves washing up, by hand & using commercial dishwasher.
Vegetable & salad prep (must be able to peel & chop efficiently)
Help with kitchen clean down at end of shift.
Pay will depend on age & experience.
