"Iyla-Mae, our beautiful girl. You were loved before we ever knew you, dreamed of before we ever held you and cherished from the moment we knew you were ours.
We never got to meet you. Never got to hear you cry. Never got to see your little smile or watch you open your eyes.
But when we went in to see you and held you after you were gone - our hearts were completely broken, yet somehow we still felt your love so strong.
We looked at your tiny face and wished the World could change - wishing we could take you home with us, wishing this wasn't real, wishing things were not this way.
You were our Daughter and you always will be. Your time with us was far too short but your place in our family will always be.
Your loss has changed all of us. There is an emptiness words can't explain. There are smiles that hide the sadness and days when breathing through the pain feels hard again.
Your family carries you every day, in memories, in tears and in love.
We wonder about the little girl you would have become and imagine you watching over us from above.
We made this Charity Event in your name because your little life deserves to be known and because no family should have to face this heartbreak or feel like they are grieving alone.
Although we never got the chance to watch you grow, you will forever be part of who we are. Our precious Daughter, our beautiful Isla-Mae. Our brightest little star.
You may have only been with us for 24 weeks, but you will be loved for a lifetime.
