You might think of us as just an ice cream shopā€¦
But that couldnā€™t be further from the truth.

Our coffee is JUST as important to us.
We invest in the training.
We invest in the machinery.
We invest in the beans.
Because if weā€™re going to serve coffee, it needs to be every bit as good as the ice cream and cakes we make ourselves.

Hello!

A little update from Penarthā€¦

Our ice cream counter decided it had had enough and smashed at 5:20am yesterday morning (Friday 7th August). Thankfully, nobody was hurt and the shop was empty at the time. Itā€™s clearly a piece of equipment that isnā€™t up to the job, but thatā€™s a problem for next week! For now, weā€™ve had to pull together a very temporary refit.

Thank goodness I never throw anything away ā€œjust in caseā€ā€¦ turns out it finally paid off! šŸ˜‚

The good news isā€¦ WEā€™RE OPEN!

It might not be the prettiest setup youā€™ve ever seen, but itā€™s functional, itā€™s serving, and thatā€™s all that matters for now.

A MASSIVE well done and thank you to the Penarth team, who have been incredibly understanding, patient and adaptable throughout all of this. Youā€™ve just got on with it and made the best of a frustrating situation.

(Itā€™s a shame the same canā€™t be said for some customersā€¦ šŸ™„šŸ˜‚)
