It was wonderful to see so many friendly faces turn out to hear from Julian Cohen as he launches yet another masterwork! The Pump Room last night was thronged with the great and the good as we heard selected highlights of the new book "Interesting Buxton Residents & Visitors" and we're thrilled our benefactress, Alice Hargreaves founder of our company is included in the list of names of renown.

You'll be glad to know Hargreaves is selling Julian's book, at the counter, so pop in and grab your copy. (cash only thank you)

If you are in town this weekend why not visit "Buxton for Books" at the Assembly Room @ The Crescent. A free event for writers and readers organised by Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust .
