Anyone who knows me knows I’m partial to a dark beer and a bit of heavy metal. So when a beer called Black Sabbath turns up on the bar, it would be rude not to.

This cracking dark ale from The Brunswick Brewing Company Ltd, is pouring beautifully and packed with enough character that Ozzy would be raising a glass in approval.

The Wednesday Club will be in later, so I’ve got a feeling this one won’t be around for long.

Doors open at 4:30pm, with service through until 8:00pm.

Grab a pint, embrace the dark side, and join us before this disappears. 🤘🍺

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us over the weekend for our Second Gluten Free Festival 🍻

It was fantastic to welcome so many new faces, and we hope to see you again long before next year's event!

Don't forget, we have a dedicated pump for gluten-free ale all year round, alongside our GF Pilsner and a great selection of gluten-free cans.

We all enjoyed an outstanding selection of gluten-free ales and lagers throughout the festival. The Egyptian Cream Milk Stout from Nene Valley Brewery proved particularly popular and disappeared quickly! Our apologies to anyone who missed out. We do still have some cans available, so feel free to ask at the bar.🍺
Good news! We're extending our can promotion: Any 4 cans for just £16 – an absolute bargain.

Saturday was especially memorable as we were proud to host Nigel Goodwin's surprise retirement celebration 🎉, as well as Amy's birthday 🎂. What a wonderful group of people to spend the day with!

Our doors open again today from 4:30pm serving to 8:00pm. We have several gluten-free casks on the bar, so why not pop in and enjoy a tasting flight this evening?

We're opening the doors at 12 noon today and will be pouring those delicious Gluten Free pints right through until 10pm tonight! 🙌🍻

🎉 Thank You, Quizzers! 🎉

Our latest Charity Quiz raised an incredible £494 for Fountains High School.

This fantastic amount will help fund new sensory equipment for their complex needs garden, making a real difference to the children who use it.

A huge thank you goes to Lee & Jenny at The Greyhound Inn Warslow for generously donating a night's B&B at their wonderful pub and brewery. We're also incredibly grateful to everyone who donates raffle prizes month after month, and to those who continue to buy raffle tickets and support our fundraising efforts.

Most importantly, thank you to all of you who turn up every month, armed with an impressive amount of knowledge across an astonishing range of subjects! Without your support, and friendly competition, we wouldn't be able to raise these amounts for such deserving causes.

We'd also like to extend our sincere thanks to Andy and the team at Superior Ironing for sponsoring this quiz and for their generosity in providing additional prizes and draws on the night. Your support is hugely appreciated.

Our next Charity Quiz will take place on Tuesday 7th July. Please note that from the next quiz onwards, raffle tickets and quiz entry will be cash only. We hope you'll understand the reasons behind this change and thank you in advance for your cooperation.

The countdown is on for our second Gluten Free Real Ale Festival, and we're ready for a fantastic weekend packed with great beer, great food, and great company!

The Landlord is prepared, the ales are waiting in the cellar, and we've filled the fridges and shelves with an incredible selection of gluten free beers. We've got an superb spectrum of GF ales, ciders and Freedom Brewery Gluten Free Helles Lager, for you to enjoy. We also have our popular Gluten Free Gift Packs available for just £17.

And what's a beer festival without some delicious food? From Friday, we'll have a tempting selection of gluten free treats available, including freshly made cobs, onion bhajis, scotch eggs, and quiche — perfect for keeping you fuelled while you work your way through the bar! 😋

We’ll be pouring 6 hand-pulled gluten-free beers, including bitters, pales, and darks – all from just £4.20 a pint.
