I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate National Fish and Chip Day with us yesterday you are all amazing. It was a fantastic day. 😍

Some of the raffle tickets were kindly donated by visitors to Bryn Rhosyr Junior FC .

The winners of the £40 gift vouchers are Mared ticket 25 and Bryn Rhosyr Junior FC.

Look for the poster in store to be in with a chance to win a Chester Zoo experience for 2.

Also I have decided that since it's such a lovely day all customers will be entered into the raffle prize draw to win 1 of 2 £40 vouchers to spend in store next week.

This Friday June 5th is National Fish and Chip Day, and we are celebrating here at The Codmother.

All customers who purchase Fish and Chips this Friday will be entered into a raffle prize draw to be in with a chance of winning a £40 voucher to be used in store the week after.

Potato Person Wanted! 🥔,

We have a small but very important role available and we're looking for the right person to join our team.

The Role: As our Potato Person, you will be responsible for preparing potatoes ready for chipping.

Duties include:
Operating our potato rumbler (which cleans and peels the potatoes)
Cleaning the machine after use
Keeping the potato preparation room clean and tidy
Wiping down walls and work surfaces
Washing up and ensuring all dishes are done before we open

Hours:
Tuesday to Saturday 4pm - 5pm ( obviously depends on when you get back from school )

Approximately 1 hour after school each day

Who Can Apply?
Aged 15 years or over
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
Looking for an after-school job and a way to earn some extra money
If you're 15 or over and looking for something useful to do with your time, we'd love to hear from you!

Please note, all applicants must apply themselves.

I would like to say a big thank you to Chris Jones from Swift Windows for fitting my hanging baskets. Chris and Ed also did the shop front for me a couple of years ago, so if you need windows, doors, conservatories etc, i can highly recommend them.

The shop looks lovely and all ready for summer, I can't wait to see the flowers in full bloom.

We open at 4pm today and all Bank holiday. Order online, in-store or over the phone.
