A Hive favourite for 35 years 🦀🐟

Some dishes just stick around for a reason. Our famous fish soup has been made from the same recipe for over 35 years, combining freshly picked crab meat with a selection of the finest West Country fish in a rich, vibrant tomato-based broth.

Served with crusty bread and remoulade, it’s one of those Hive classics that our customers come back for time and time again.

From today, if you’ve got a DT postcode, you can get 15% off your main meal at Hive when you join us for lunch, Monday to Friday.

So if you’re local and haven’t tried it yet, this is your excuse to come down for a proper lunch by the beach. Bring something with you that shows your DT address, order a main meal and we’ll take 15% off your bill.

We use Fenton British free-range eggs, so when you order your breakfast, you’re getting proper British eggs from free-range hens.

From a simple fried egg to one of our breakfast dishes, they’re a pretty important part of the kitchen here. And, in our opinion, there’s not much better than a good breakfast when the weather outside is looking questionable. 🥚

There’s no complicated code to remember. Just bring something with you that shows your DT address, order a main meal and we’ll take the discount off your bill.

September has arrived, and the weather is doing exactly what you’d expect from a September in Dorset.

A bit of sunshine, a bit of rain and plenty of wind thrown in for good measure.

Luckily, Hive is a pretty good place to hide from the worst of it. Come down for breakfast, lunch, a coffee or something sweet, then watch the weather do its thing outside. 🌊
