A heartfelt thank you from Cafe @ Collis ❤️
With very heavy hearts, but also an overwhelming sense of gratitude, we want to share some news with all of you.
Due to part retirement and health issues, we will no longer be at the cafe.
Where do we even begin to say thank you?
To every single person who has walked through our doors, shared a coffee, enjoyed a meal, stopped for a chat, brought friends and family, recommended us to others, or simply popped in to say hello — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you for every kind word, every smile, every meaningful conversation, every laugh, every bit of encouragement, and every helping hand along the way. Thank you to those who supported us through the good days and the difficult ones, and to everyone who believed in us and in what we were trying to create.
A café is so much more than four walls, tables and cups of coffee. It’s the people who fill it. And you filled ours with memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives.
We have met so many wonderful people through Cafe @ Collis — some who came as customers and left as friends, and some who became a truly special part of our lives. The conversations, stories, friendships, laughter and moments shared with you have meant more to us than we could ever properly put into words.
It has been an amazing journey, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to be part of your lives, even in some small way.
Please know that every single bit of your support has meant the absolute world to us. ❤️
Walking away is incredibly emotional, but we do so with full hearts and an enormous amount of gratitude. We will look back on our time at Cafe @ Collis with so much love, pride and affection — and, most importantly, with gratitude for all of you who made it so special.
