aving taken some time out to work with young people teaching them baking and cooking skills through charities. I first learned how to decorate cakes from Wilton International and then began to teach myself new techniques. and I am still learning! I bake all items in my kitchen at home and make everything fresh to order, from scratch - no mixes. I use only the finest ingredients and local produce where possible. I only use free range eggs and British flour. I design cakes for each client so you can choose a design you’ve seen on my site or I can design something unique for you. As well as decorated celebration and wedding cakes, I also make a variety of bakery items, all made fresh for you. This is an 'Order Only' business, I do not have a shop and therefore I do not have items for sale over the counter. I look forward to making a treat for you. Michelle

Hi All!
I have made a very difficult decision, one I have been thinking about for a while now - I am going to close Miss. Attie's Kitchen (Aka: Miss. Attie's Cakes).
There are a few reasons I decided to do this now, but I am sure you can understand the price of everything has certainly played its part. Every single one of my ingredients, as well as the cost of packaging, has increased so much over the past couple of years that it really isn't sustainable for me to continue with a small business from home.
I want to thank everyone who has bought from my business, supported my business and enjoyed my cakes/bakes over the years. I really appreciate you!
I will continue to bake and decorate cakes for a select few people from now on and will wind the business down with the official closing of Miss. Attie's Kitchen in December 2026.
In the meantime I do have a selection of baking tins and other equipment that I would like to sell. I will post them on here and on other selling sites over the summer. If you are interested in any of the items I am selling, please email me.
Thank you again to those of you who have been wonderful clients and friends over the years, you kept me going in more ways than one. All the best!

Wow!! Safe travels to the Artemis II crew!!
Such an amazing thing to watch, so emotional. I have always loved space and all things space, so this was a moment that really impacted on me, which is why I am posting on my business page.
Its things like this that make me proud to be a human, such courage and amazing brain power to get this done.
I am also so pleased that America has shown that not all of them are doing stupid things like starting wars!

Hi All!!
I know I haven't posted much recently. For those of you who know my mum, she's a very strong and wonderful personn, but she's had a couple of tough years. Last year was particularly difficult with some health issues, so I have been making sure she's ok and putting her first. This has meant taking more time off from the business and not taking as many orders. The business is important, but not as much as her. I am still making cakes and other goodies, but do need as much notice as possible if you would like to place an order. I no longer have a set menu of items I make as I am always willing to consider any requests 😃 within reason, of course🥰.
Thank you to everyone who has supported my small business through the years, it has been very much appreciated.

Eva is an amazing 15!!
Last year she asked for a gingerbread for her birthday and was very pleased with the bundt cake I made and decorated for her, so she asked for it again this year. Pink and sparkly is always on the cards, so this year it was a slightly different design and colour, but keeping the pink and sparkly! Happy Birthday!

I've known Adam since he was very little and he even became a Rotakid with us at the primary school. He's grown up now and has a few interests, which I incorporated into his cake along with his favourite colours. Hope he enjoys his chocolate cake and his birthday!
