Introducing………… The BOSS, the OWNER, the BIG CHEESE, the ONE IN CHARGE, the DELEGATOR, the MACHINE!!

My name is Gemma, I’ve got 24 years experience within the hospitality industry.
I first started off at age 14 working in my parents pub kitchen where I discovered a love of cooking. Here I amassed extensive knowledge and experience in all areas through north lancs training group, business management at Blackburn college, city and guilds and level 3 in customer service.
In 2012 while managing a coffee shop I left on maternity leave and made the decision to buy my first business at age 24. Supported by family and friends it was the best decision I ever made. I learnt ALOT of what to do and what not to do in those first years and I still don’t always get it right now.
My skills and knowledge are forever growing and when covid hit I decided again to take another big risk of moving venues, increasing my outside catering and improving upon my offerings to what Cafe At The Corner has to offer today.
I always strive to keep offering my best and that is what I’ll continue to do as long as my lovely customers keep on supporting my dream.
