The Artful Dodger

“Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life" Apparently this quote is accredited to Mark Twain, whoever said it they were right.
Just a shout out to all our fabulous customers who make going to work a joy. People often comment on getting service with a smile, it’s easy for us because serving you all is a like having our friends round for breakfast!
It’s always a boost when you tell us how much you enjoy the food, Cal works really hard to make sure every meal is as good as it can be so it’s lovely for him when he knows you’ve enjoyed it.
Also a thank you to our amazing staff, our little Dodger family, who work really hard and always give it their all to give you the best service.
Oh and one last mention for my Mum, who’s crazy idea to open a little breakfast cafe on backstreet over 30 years ago started it all, and who has worked so hard to make it everything it is today.
So thanks everyone and we’ll see you tomorrow to do it all over again! 🥰

The fans are breeding! We managed to keep everyone cool enough yesterday so we are open today! 😃Once again if the heat in the kitchen gets too much I’ll post here if we close up early.

How many fans it too many fans? 😂
We are open today, braving the heat with fans blowing! Cal has promised not to cook in his swimming trunks 😜 but we may close early if the heat gets too much. I’ll post on here if so 🥵.

Do you stir your tea clockwise or anti-clockwise? Callum says clockwise, Georgie says anti-clockwise, who are you with? 😜
