Reflecting on what has been a huge year; it’s no wonder I’m so tired!

Our new branding is now not-so-new and feels so integral to Earsham Street Deli and who we are that I can’t imagine it being any other way.

We hate having to alter our opening hours, but there’s no way around this one folks.

We have some urgent electrical work to be done in the Bungay deli tomorrow (Tuesday) morning which means we won’t be open as normal.

Whilst we can use the till across the road in The Edit for any off the shelf products you may need, we won’t be open for coffee, sandwiches and weighed deli counter products until early afternoon on Tuesday. Plus the lights will be off so we may have to fetch any products for you!

We’re seriously sorry for the disruption and will get up and running as soon as we possibly can.

Thanks for your understanding, Michelle and the team x

First we filled your fridge. Now we’re filling your homes.

I keep being told by deli customers that you’ve banned yourselves from going into our new store across the road - The Edit - because you just want to buy EVERYTHING!

We’re sorry for the temptation on BOTH sides of our street in Bungay!

For the love of the good stuff.

Over the counter conversations.

Discovering your favourite cheese. Knowing your coffee order. Learning that Monday night is pasta night in your house. Spotting a haircut. Hearing about wedding plans. Listening to why it’s been a bad day. Suggesting a new product we think you’ll love. Asking how the renovations are going. Checking in on test results. Noticing if we haven’t see you for a while.

Connection.

Come in, slow down, shop beautifully.

The finest food in the finest location; today we spent some time capturing the feeling of our second deli at Snape Maltings.

We’re lucky to have such a perfect backdrop for our ‘satellite store’ which opened in September ‘22.
Our product range here may have started smaller but it has evolved and grown into a cornucopia of flavour.

Whilst I only head across once a week or so, the love that the Snape team pour into both the shop and our customers shines through.

For the love of good stuff.

There’s something quite comforting about the new month starting on a Monday (and after a full moon!). Lists have been written, ideas have been explored, and I’m all ready to kick start the meteorological start of summer with all the energy and enthusiasm of someone who spent the past week juggling half term and germs and basically not getting anything done!

Those who visited us in Bungay last week may have spied our additional fridge which has made a permanent return after the last couple Decembers. Sitting beautifully next to our new till counter, the extra chilled space will change with the seasons and allow more a ‘grab and go’ style of shopping for those who just want to fill their basket and get going!

This latest ‘tweak’ to our flagship deli is something I’ve been really excited to implement!

I spend hours, literally hours, thinking of ways to evolve and improve both our offering and your experience. More instinct and inspiration than stats and spreadsheets (although I love a bit of those too), I’m proud to say that we never get complacent and think that standing still is enough. Whether that’s our products, our systems or even where we put things on the shelves, it’s all been thought through.

For the love of the good stuff.
