The Fountain Inn is a traditional family run 14th Century public house and café located in the heart of the small market town of Builth Wells. The Fountain has something to offer everyone from hearty home-cooked food to delicious real ale. We have a large and varied menu offering home cooked bar snacks, light meals as well as traditional pub favourites for those after something more substantial. E
very Sunday we serve our legendary carvery with a choice of three meats and all the trimmings. We also have a special children’s menu to keep the whole family happy. All of our meals are made to order using fresh, local produce whenever possible. The Fountain is the ideal place to relax after a hard day’s work or the perfect location to let your hair down. We serve all major drinks brands and have regular promotions. For the more traditional we have an ever-changing guest cask ale and cask cider. The pub is becoming known as one of the best live music venues in Mid Wales with live bands playing most Saturday nights. We are owned and run by Penmaenau Bars Limited and during the summer months we work closely with Penmaenau Bars and we often have weekends of live music in a specially constructed marque and bar at the rear of the premises. We have six flat screen TVs and even have TVs on the beer pumps with a full Sky Sports and ESPN package showing all live premier league football, Formula 1 and all rugby games. If there is something you particularly want to watch simply ask one of our friendly staff members who will do their best to show it for you. We offer free Wi-Fi to our customers and we can also cater for large parties and meetings, please contact us for more details. The Fountain has three darts boards, two pool tables and two quiots boards and we hold regular competitions most Sundays with cash prizes. In the winter months we have a roaring log burning fire keeping you warm no matter what the weather. The Fountain Inn guarantees a warm welcome from our friendly staff and locals alike.
