R&R Burgers will be serving from 6pmโ€“9.30pm tonight, bringing the burgers while we keep the beers cold and the wines flowing.

Itโ€™s the 1st of Mayโ€ฆ and itโ€™s raining. Of course it is.

After all that talk of longer evenings and sitting outside, the weatherโ€™s decided to keep us grounded โ€” which, conveniently, is where the bar is.

We do start with a bank holiday weekend, so thereโ€™s still every chance plans improve as they go on. They usually do.

Inside, itโ€™s business as usual โ€” that steady mix of chatter and clinking glasses, people arriving โ€œjust for oneโ€ and staying because itโ€™s easier than leaving. Thereโ€™s a rhythm to May, rain or not.

Bonniโ€™s Pizza every Thursday.
Just Steak 16th.

Somewhere in the middle thereโ€™ll be Eurovision, which needs no explanation, and by the end, another bank holiday.

Until then โ€” wet pavements, open doors, and a pub thatโ€™s exactly where you need it to be.
