Last few spots available for our Grow Your Own Kitchen Garden Workshops 🌱🌱
Join us for a full-day, hands-on workshop with our Head Gardener, Penny Hemming. Penny tends our 100% organic garden, supplying the restaurant with everything from everyday favourites like beetroot, salad leaves and sweetcorn to more unusual crops such as tropea onions, heritage tomatoes and tromboncino squash.
Throughout the day, Penny will share her knowledge of soil health, composting, crop rotation, and natural pest control — showing how to work with nature rather than against it. You’ll learn how to plan your growing space for year-round harvests, choose the right varieties for your soil, and start your own seeds with confidence.
You’ll get to sow some seeds of your own and take home a selection of seedlings ready to plant — whether you have a large vegetable patch, an allotment, or simply a few pots in a sunny courtyard.
And of course, no day in the garden would be complete without a freshly prepared lunch, featuring the season’s best produce picked straight from the surrounding fields.
When: Wednesday 29 April / Tuesday 5 May / Wednesday 6 May
Time: 9.30am - 4pm
Cost: £150 pp
