🎃 𝗟𝗲𝘁’𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘆! 🎃

👻 Fancy a little Halloween fun? Join us at Humble Bumble Café on Friday 30th October for some Halloween biscuit decorating!

🐝 Our friendly Busy Bees will be waiting with biscuits, icing and plenty of sprinkles for little hands (and big ones!) to get creative.

🍪 Just turn up any time between 11am and 2pm. No booking, no fuss, just come along and join in!

💛 We suggest a £3 donation per biscuit, but please give whatever feels right for you. Every penny goes straight back into our community, helping us put on more lovely events and activities for everyone to enjoy.

☕ And while you’re here, why not grab a coffee, enjoy a bite to eat or treat yourself to something from the counter? 🥪

Bring the children, bring your imagination, and come and make something deliciously spooky with us! 🎃

💛 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗮 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 💛

There are some brilliant people and businesses out there who deserve a little recognition.

The ones who go the extra mile, make you smile, lend a hand or simply make life that bit better.

Now's your chance to give them a shout out!

Tag them below and tell us why they are worth celebrating. Let's fill the comments with a little positivity!

And speaking of lovely people, we would love to see some of you today! If you're out and about in this wet and wild weather, pop in for a warm welcome and perhaps a takeaway hot drink to keep you going through the weekend. Sometimes a little bit of warmth makes all the difference 🐝

💛 𝗔 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟 💛

Have you tried our new sausage, cheddar & onion chutney ciabatta yet? 👀

If not, we might have just sorted your lunch plans! 🤤

It's easy to forget how much a visit to a little independent café can mean. Every coffee, cake and lunch helps support a small business, a hardworking team and a place built around bringing people together.

With rising costs putting pressure on small businesses everywhere, choosing local really does make a difference.

So why not pop in, try something new and make a little time for yourself? Bring a friend, grab some lunch or simply come in for your favourite coffee.

We'd love to see you at Humble Bumble 💛

💛 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗦 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗠 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗦 💛

“The atmosphere is second to none. The conversations are easy going and the friendship is awesome.”

Barry recently shared this lovely review, describing Humble Bumble as “a little piece of tranquility and paradise.” 🥹

We will be sharing more customer reviews here, so keep an eye out! 👀

It's lovely to know that Humble Bumble is more than somewhere to grab a coffee. It's a place where friendships grow, conversations happen and people can feel part of something.

Sometimes, the smallest places can make the biggest difference. 🥰

And if you've visited us but haven't left a review yet, we would love to hear from you 💛

Thank you, Barry, for taking the time to share your experience with us.

🥐 Weekend Plans 🥐

Our croissants are baked fresh every morning, and there is something rather lovely about a freshly baked croissant to start the day.

Lovely and flaky, and perfectly happy in their original form… but add ham and cheddar and you have got a rather good breakfast on your hands 😋

Now, we’re not saying your Saturday needs a croissant, but a freshly baked croissant and a good coffee wouldn’t be a bad way to start the weekend ☕💛

✨ 𝗡𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗼𝗽 𝗶𝗻 ✨

You don't need an occasion.

You don't need to arrange a catch up weeks in advance.

You don't even need to know what you fancy until you get here.

Although, should a handmade Viennese Whirl happen to take your fancy, we can certainly help with that. 🍪

Come as you are. The coffee's waiting. 🐝

🐝 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗨𝘀. 🐝

We are a small, family owned, independent café. And when we say small, we really do mean it!

There's no magic happening behind the scenes. No army of people making things happen while we stand at the counter looking pretty. 😂

It's just us. The Busy Bees. 🐝

One minute we're making your coffee, the next we're baking cakes, prepping lunch, restocking shelves or dealing with whatever fresh chaos the day has decided to deliver.

The same team making your bacon bap might also be chasing a supplier, planning our next community event, fixing something that has chosen today to break or wondering how it's only 10am and we've already done a full day's work. 😂

We all muck in, we all get our hands dirty, and our job descriptions are really more of a vague suggestion.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲. You make a plan, the day laughs at your plan, and somehow you get there in the end. Usually with a cup of tea that's gone cold.

But Humble Bumble is more than the jobs we juggle. It's the food we make, the ideas we dream up, the familiar faces who pop in and the conversations that turn a quick coffee into a proper natter.

We're not following a corporate script or trying to be something we're not. We're real people, doing things our way, building something we're proud of and creating a place where people feel welcome.

And yes, some days are chaotic. Things break, plans change and occasionally everyone seems to need something at exactly the same time. But we roll up our sleeves, work it out and keep going. Because that's what we do. 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

So if you see us doing three things at once, looking for something we've just put down or drinking that same cold cup of tea for the third time, don't worry.

We've got this... We've got each other. And somehow the coffee keeps flowing 😂🐝
