Admitting defeat and calling it a night for tonight.........I have been baking since 8am and still have 40 cupcakes to bake BUT I am just so so so tired - forgotten how much hardworking these charity bakes are BUT remember how worthwhile and well supported they are

So I am just waiting for these 2 trays to come out, and then I'm off to bed to get up early to finish tomorrow morning

I will see you all between 10 am and noon.

I will take this opportunity to wish the GORGEOUS Nora all the very, very, very best for tomorrow in the London Marathan 💙

Who fancies some FREE cupcakes!!!!!

For those who don't know my daddy and the fab Steve are business partners and privately own this gorgeous 104year old lugger called "Our Daddy"

She has just undergone an 8 month restoration project and is now back on the Heritage Pontoon, alongside Pilgrim and Vigilance and she is looking STUNNING ⛵️💙⛵️💙⛵️💙⛵️💙⛵️💙

You can pop down to the pontoon and go and say hello, or you pop over to their website and book yourself a half day or full day sail

After your visit or sail, you can visit The Chart Room First Class Coffee Lounge and have an exclusive "Our Daddy" afternoon tea or have it delivered onboard for your sail ⛵️

All I need you to do is go over to Our Daddy Sailing and like their page and then leave a comment here saying done - when they reach 1000 likes, i will then pick someone or a few of you, to win a box of 6 vanilla cupcakes for collection

I'm so excited for my daddy and Steve for the new chapter in Our Daddys 104year old history book and im so very grateful for your help in supporting them and maybe a cheeky share of some of their posts every now and again, that would really be the icing on top of the cake 🎂

In less than 24 hrs 70 boxes have been sold so I am upping it to 100 boxes and then i will stop......gives a chance to those who have not seen my post yet, to get a box of yumminess

It's £5 for a box of 4 cupcakes, with all £5 being donated to Kidney Care UK, who are supporting my wonderful friend of 22 years P and his gorgeous family

Collection is 27th April which is the day of the London Marathan and P's gorgeous wife is running in aid.of Kidney Care UK -her target was £2.5k and you will all help her reach that goal and exceed it ❤️

So, I said a good while back that I would do one of my charity cupcake sales to help raise some pennies too

A box of 4 cupcakes as usual will be £5.00, with all of that £5 being donated to Kidney Care UK

The London Marathon is on Sunday 27th April, so collection will be then and between 10am and Noon

As we all know I don't do many cakes at all now - just can't fit everything in and let's face it.....I'm no spring chicken either these days 🤣👵 and we all know the one thing I like to do, is help out where I can no matter what it takes.

So, I have this very dear friend called Phil, who is very special to me from my Ocean Village cruise ship days..... I first met him back in 2003 when our ship was going loco down in Acapulco.....our first few meetings were interesting to say the least 🤣 I was P&O through and through and Phil was OV through and through, but after awhile "P" became one of my closest and most treasured friends and for that I will always be so very very grateful - he was also our beloved Mr Millar's best friend - the 2 were a double act for sure 🥰🥰

"P" is in the final stages of kidney disease and is waiting for a shiny new kidney and his gorgeous beautiful amazing wife Nora, who he met on board Ocean Village all those years ago, is running the London Marathan in 2025 to raise money for Kidney Care UK, who are not only supporting Phil, but also Nora and their 2 utterly gorgeous daughters

So to help Nora reach her goal of £2.5k or hopefully exceed it, I am going to do one of my cupcake sales and donate the money to Nora's fundraising page - it's not a patch on what Nora is doing, but if it can help add pennies to her pot, it's a job well done I say ###x

So watch this space for a date - I need to see what I can do around work and other commitments, BUT it will happen, I promise
