My children have sporting fixtures and it couldn’t have come at a better weekend to have off - it’s far too hot to bake and it also means I get to enjoy some of this beautiful weather ☀️

Last day to grab yourself one of these Caramel Cornflake Brownies.

I have had to make batches and batches of caramel to keep the shed stocked with these this weekend…and making caramel is the worst part of my job 😱😭

I’ve put 2 trays worth in the shed today to keep it more stocked up and to avoid constantly running out.

As usual, the Caramel Cornflake Brownies have been flying out of the shed today! 🤩

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll probably know about my fear of making caramel. I got burnt making it once, and honestly, it still terrifies me! 😆 But it’s one of your absolute favourites, so I have to face my fears when this appears on the menu.

Have a listen to that bubbling away (and try to ignore the sound of Katy Perry in the background 🤣). It’s actually quite satisfying to watch!

This golden caramel gets poured over crunchy cornflakes before being piled on top of rich, delicious brownies. The result? Pure heaven in every bite. 🤤✨

Back again for another weekend of The Cake Shed and it’s full of treats! You’ll notice the shed is slightly less full today as I’ve put extra bakes in the fridge to keep them cool. Thankfully the shed is in a perfectly shaded spot so everything else keeps nice and cool too.
