Unfortunately, in the early hours of Monday morning, we experienced an attempted break-in at The Travellers Rest, Pensford.

Thankfully, the individual was unable to gain entry and nothing was taken. We wanted to make the local community aware and ask everyone in the area to remain vigilant.

The police have been informed and are investigating the incident. If anyone has any information or noticed anything suspicious around this time, please contact the police.

Thank you for finally highlighting the crisis facing hospitality.

The hospitality industry has been under immense pressure for years, with rising costs, increasing taxes, staff shortages and shrinking margins making it harder than ever for pubs, restaurants and hotels to survive.
