As most of our customers are probably now aware , Raj Pavillions( one of the oldest if not even the oldest Indian restaurants in Bristol (1981) ) has had to close permanently its doors after a long 44 years . We have been finding it difficult to find the words to express how much upsetting this has been for us . It’s been a difficult decision to make but we have been experiencing financial loss for the last two years now and as much as we would have loved to serve our customers for another 4 decades unfortunately it’s not been possible .

We would like to thank ,from the
Bottom of our hearts, all our loyal customers who have supported us throughout the years . I hope you forgive our shortcomings too. You will all be dearly missed

What a lovely surprise to see such a fantastic article about Raj Pavillions, written by journalist Ellie Kendall . Truly heartwarming ! With rising costs / high inflation , it’s been really tough on many small businesses , including ours too . We have seen so many of our favourite restaurants closing due to this . Our staff work extremely hard to make sure everyone gets a lovely experience at the Raj Pavillions ( one of the oldest Indian restaurants in Bristol ) . Having been closed on Mondays throughout the Pandemic, we now feel it’s appropriate to be open 7 days a week . So brush off your Monday blues and start the week with bang❤️❤️❤️

An important Notice - please kindly read .

As you are aware , Raj Pavillions has been operating a BYO policy and we have decided to continue with this . Please make sure you take your bottles and cans with you when you finish as that will help us tremendously. As you are aware we do not have a bar . Otherwise we will be left with no choice but to charge you a corkage fee to cover the recycling cost .

Please do not abuse our bring your own policy . In addition , during busy times , we may have to put a time frame on your visit .
