We’re launching a brand new subscription: FCP & Friends! We have always loved drinking coffee from roasters outside the UK, and as you might have guessed, we love variety!

With this subscription you will receive 2 bags of coffee, one by us and one by a roaster from outside of the UK.

This subscription will work differently to the others on our website. There’s a cut off date of the 7th of the month, and any orders that come in after that will receive the next month’s subscription coffee. We will announce the roaster of the month on the cutoff date to keep it exciting! The first one is going to be festive!

It’s £25 a month and the retail value of both bags combined will always be higher than that. Shipping is included. Filter roast and wholebean only. Find it on our subscriptions page on our website!

FCPMAS is here! We’ve got a real treat for the Christmas season and it’s called Rugali, an anoxic natural processed red bourbon. It’s tasting a lot like the Glühwein that former staff member, Patrick, made at our last FCPMAS staff party in 2019.

We’ve only got got 30kg of this coffee but we also have the washed version coming out on our Roastery’s first anniversary.

Rugali Natural is available now on our website for pickup and delivery. It was sourced by Raw Material. We paid £12.52/kg and the F.O.B. price was $13.74/kg

We’ve just had a delivery of green coffee and Chris is busy profiling the new upcoming launches. As you may have gathered if you’ve come to our cafe, we really value variety! With our menu of 4 coffees that change every week it was only natural to have a similar approach to the roastery. So far we’ve had 65 different coffees and we haven’t been roasting for a full year!

We only get a limited amount of each coffee to make sure there’s (usually) a choice of ten on the website and our filter and espresso subscribers are getting a different coffee each week. The coffees seem to have been disappearing faster and faster as we go on!

La Tortuga! This special coffee is from the Galápagos Islands in Ecuador. This washed bourbon was grown between 250 and 400 meters above sea level which is remarkably low compared to where arabica coffee is normally grown. It tastes like nectarine, honeydew melon, white miso and chamomile tea!

It’s available now on the top shelf section of the website and is available for pickup and delivery.

We have 70kgs of it and paid £21.56 per kilo. It was sourced through Caravela, usually it gets all bought up by a reserve line from a large coffee company!

no. 46: Fency Feng. We have a new member of the team! You may know her from Ka:fei, the blue coffee container not too far from us! She’s studying graphic design and working for us part time. Her husband Arrow wanted her to come work here because she was making him laugh too much and ruining his perfect latte art. She keeps us laughing too — come say hi!
