October is here, and pumpkin prep is in full swing 💪

Our pumpkin patch is taking shape ready for opening day on 10th October! Here’s what we’ve been up to - a very non-exhaustive list:

- Tommy cutting pumpkins off their vines so they can enjoy basking in the sunshine
- Cinderella's pumpkin carriage was, in fact, towed by a JCB
- It's been a BUMper year for BUMkins
- New welly washing station is up and running, we can't promise white trainers will ever be the same though
- Tish creating our fave colour-coordinated heart installation
- Wheelbarrows lined up ready to roll (the spider understood the assignment)
- Just a few of the THOUSANDS of pumpkins we have grown...

Event dates are 10 - 11, 17 - 18, 23 - 31 October. If you want to see maximum pumpkins, ALL the variety and much less mud, we recommend visiting us on the first weekend - 10th + 11th October 🍂

A Farrington’s favourite for many years now, made with our own homegrown pumpkins, freshly harvested from the fields here in Farrington Gurney.

Gently spiced, thick and hearty, served with a warm sourdough roll for dipping!

Served in our Cafe from 12pm - 3pm daily, and on our Deli for takeaway 🍂

Autumn has officially arrived at Farrington’s Café 🍂

Settle into the season with our new lunch menu, it's a good 'un! Highlights include our signature spiced pumpkin soup, loaded three-cheese mac & cheese, homegrown pumpkin curry, and a halloumi, fresh fig, candied walnut & beetroot salad.

Not all pumpkins are orange, and that’s exactly what we love about pumpkin picking 🧡

All our pumpkins are homegrown on the farm, so every one is a little bit different! From tiny and quirky to big and beautiful. Pale, striped, bumpy, colourful and completely unique. There’s so much more than the classic orange pumpkin.

Sometimes you find a real little beauty like this one… have you ever seen one quite like this?!

📢 Calling all car lovers... this Sunday is the LAST car meet of 2026 at Farrington's!
