Wow, what a weekend. We are still completely mind-boggled by how beautifully our 20th birthday celebrations turned out, and we want to say a massive, heartfelt thank you to every single person who came down to celebrate with us.

Because of your incredible generosity, we managed to raise a grand total of £1,026.20. We have split this right down the middle to support our two phenomenal chosen charities: the LGBT Switchboard and Martlets Hospice. We are immensely proud to support them, knowing firsthand the amazing work they do for our wider community right here in and around Brighton.
An event like this takes a village, and we have some very important thank yous to hand out:

• To our unbelievable bar staff, to our team of a lifetime (Kaiya, Indigo, Alicia, Issy, Nancy, Sara, and Beth): Thank you for your wonderful efforts selling raffle tickets, working your asses off on the night, adorning the pub in black and red decor and keeping the drinks flowing all year round. We couldn't do any of this without you.
• To Wavy: Thank you for cooking the amazing spread that kept our stomachs lined on Friday night.
• To every single local business, restaurant, and individual who donated raffle prizes: There are honestly too many to name, but your generosity was intrinsic in helping us raise so much money for our chosen charities.
• To Lucy and Johnny: Thank you for taking photos on Friday night (beware, everyone, these will emerge as the week goes on...!).
• To the gorgeous Alicia Davison and Brandy Bex: Thank you for leading the entertainment so brilliantly and keeping the energy electric.
• To Hannah Norton, Jack Kristiansen, and Sirona Thorneycroft: Thank you for your absolutely mindblowing performances that none of us will forget anytime soon.
• Our brilliant DJs for the latter part of the evening: Peter Von Sleaze and Chloe who hosts our regular night 'Lost at Sea'. You guys rocked the house!!
• To Cliff and Debora: Thank you for finding and building this unique pub in the first place, bankrolling the incredible food and decor, providing that sweet happy hour discount for everyone all weekend long, and giving our community such a wonderful home for the last 20 years.
• And finally, to you, our customers: Thank you for your endless support, your enthusiasm, and for showing up in full force on the night and every day beyond.

To be honest, we don't particularly want the celebrations to end. The good news is, they don't have to. Keep a close eye on our calendar because we have plenty more gigs, more shows, and more celebrations coming your way soon, and of course.. CAROWE’EN!

And this weekend we're celebrating in style!

TONIGHT (FRIDAY): live entertainment, DJs, charity raffle with amazing prizes, and happy hour prices from 2pm until close! The party starts at 8pm.

SATURDAY: DJ Harlot with (men don't get) Lost at Sea (like they used to) from 9pm, plus happy hour prices from 2pm until close!

SUNDAY: Live acoustic music with Sunset Sounds, downstairs from 4pm, variety showcase Cabaret Lab upstairs from 8pm, and happy hour prices from 2pm until close!

This raffle is for them. Raising the money for causes that have supported those close to us day in and day out.
We can only repay our gratitude by trying to raise them some money and what a wonderful way to do it by showing our love to you punters!

Well well well… HAPPY BIRTHDAY US! 🦇🖤
The Caroline of Brunswick is celebrating its 20th birthday. That’s 20 years, 240 months and 7305 days of serving you up pints, powerful performances, pleasurable company and pure punk attitude!
. And you can bet your ass we’re going hard to celebrate!

On Friday, 2nd October we are throwing the pub a party to end all parties, with live Cazaret (sorry not sorry) performances from some of our favourite acts over the years, free food, super cheap drinks and finally, some DJ sets that will have you dancing the night away!

20 years of being proudly and uniquely ourselves, and we’ve only got here because you keep coming back. This is more than a party, this is a thank you to every regular who, over the years, have made the Caz what it is. We will be giving back to our community through happy hour prices throughout the weekend and raising a glass, and collecting donations, to two charities that are very close to our hearts: Martlets and the Rainbow Fund.

- FREE PROSECCO FOR THE FIRST 100 THROUGH THE DOOR IN RED AND BLACK FROM 8PM, SO DRESS TO IMPRESS

- HAPPY HOUR PRICES NOT JUST ALL NIGHT, BUT ALL DAMN WEEKEND!!

This is, of course, a free entry event but we would be thrilled if you bought with you some loose (preferably foldable!!) change to throw into our charity buckets. Thank you.
