This week’s spring set is an absolute cracker!

You should start, as all good meals do, with our famous bread and butter… and perhaps a couple of oysters (purely for balance).

Next up, our hand rolled agnolotti filled with salmon and basil, swimming in a langoustine & chilli butter. Follow that with some rather stunning spring lamb, and finish on a choux bun loaded with burnt sugar crème pâtissière, rhubarb, and stem ginger.

Pre-theatre, post-theatre, midweek pick me up, or a lazy lunch in the sun, weather permitting, we’re here for all of it.

Pescatarian and vegetarian options are always available - just let us know!

Available Wednesday - Saturday, until 6pm!

Seasonal cooking. Exceptional value.

A Special Collaboration

Thursday 14th May @ 6pm

We’re incredibly excited to host a one-off evening celebrating the very best of English farming and winemaking.

In collaboration with Sugrue South Downs and Beal’s Farm, we’ll be serving a thoughtfully curated 6-course tasting menu built around a truly special ingredient: the incredible Mangalitza pig, prepared nose-to-tail.

There’ll be our usual bold, expressive cooking paired with the elegance and character of English wines each course matched to showcase both plate and glass at their absolute best.

The evening will be hosted by Ana from Sugrue, bringing a personal touch to what promises to be a warm, lively, and memorable experience.

Tickets: £120 per person

If you have a love for English wine, carefully sourced produce, then this is one you shouldn’t miss! There’s very limited availability so book your table asap!

Lots of good things happened last week.

We started with some lively razor clams
Steamed just enough to open, then dressed with Aleppo pepper, blood orange and confit garlic

Spring is properly knocking now, and the lamb coming through from has been something else. We’ve been stuffing saddles with wild garlic and sweetbreads

As always, the day starts with bread.

There’s also been some quiet experimenting behind the scenes… playing around with a house Campari and we’re excited to see how it develops

deep in battle with the order (as always 😅), but we got there in the end

One of the unexpected highlights was some lamb fat canelés. They could make the petit four selection this week

We wrapped things up with a proper team lunch cooked by cracking lunch! Followed, of course, by a few cocktails at

Now we roll into a new week…Hospitality Night kicks things off on Wednesday evening 50% off our à la carte menu for you lovely lot

Then straight into Easter weekend. We’ve only got a couple of tables left, so if you’re thinking about it, now’s the time to jump in.

We’re also keeping a close eye out for the first Jersey Royals and English asparagus as soon as they land, they’ll be straight onto the menu

Big week ahead let’s go

Another week and a new set menu… well, almost. We’ve kept the smoked trout pâté on for another week after it proved so popular it felt wrong to take it off just yet.

As the seasons begin to shift, you’ll start to see the first hints of spring creeping onto the menu. Wild garlic makes an appearance, alongside some beautiful sprouting broccoli via shrubs and of course, the star of the season Yorkshire rhubarb to finish if you fancy.

It’s exactly the kind of cooking we love, seasonal ingredient lead and delicious.

Whether you’re heading to the theatre, meeting friends for a quick lunch or looking for an early dinner, our set menu is designed to fit perfectly into your plans while still offering the full Furna experience.

Set menu available:
Thursday – Saturday | 12:30–2:30
