It’s a scorcher today but don’t worry as we are used to heat and can stay in the kitchen.

Let us cook for you tonight (and this whole hot weekend).

Friday & Saturday we have our grill night offer of two ‘steak’ meals for £35.

On Friday and Saturday we also have our ‘Beat the Heat’ deal with £10 off any 2 meals. Available for dine in and takeaway.

Sunday sees our fabulously tasty & popular Sunday Roasts added to our menu with food served 12noon until 7pm.

Walk ins welcome as always but we would appreciate it if you can book ahead so we can take then chains off chef when the kitchen is quiet.

Don’t forget it’s our pie night tonight with a homemade deep filled pie, choice of potatoes and a selection of fresh vegetables for only £14.

On the menu tonight we have;-

Steak & mushroom.
Vegan ‘steak’ & mushroom. VG
Chicken, kale & mushroom.
Roasted baby patty pan squash, red onion and kale in a cream sauce. VG

Shepherd’s pie.

Please note that pies are limited due to the heat in our kitchen so why not book ahead and order your pie of choice. We will endeavour to have this ready for you within 20 minutes of your arrival and confirming your order.

We were genuinely shocked and saddened to read this article this morning. We always believed there was more than enough ‘room’ for both The Crow Bar & The Sun Inn (and the other great local pubs, bars and restaurants) to flourish.

We wish Lance the very best for whatever he decides to do next. It must’ve been a very tough decision for him to make even during the current turmoil impacting all hospitality businesses.

If any locals have future bookings made at The Sun Inn we will help you in any way possible and we are sure other local venues will do the same too.

We will reach our 8th anniversary of opening this December and fully intend to keep going long into the future.

Join us for our first pie night of 2026 and enjoy your choice of pie with fresh seasonal veg and a choice of potatoes for only £14.

Today’s pies include steak & ale with mixed mushrooms, chicken & mushroom with garlic kale in a cream sauce (vegetarian option available) or delicious shepherd’s pie. All our pies are full of homemade filling and will satisfy the biggest of appetites.
