A LITTLE UPDATE FROM EL SPARKEY’S

So… I have a confession to make.

The fridges and electrics went down a few hours before service on Saturday, I got annoyed and kicked the fridge..

The fridge survived.

My toes didn’t.

I’ve managed to break two toes and unfortunately needed surgery. The good news is the operation is done and I’m on the mend.

I’m going to be taking it a little easier for the next couple of days, but EL SPARKEY’S is still going strong and I’ll be back in the kitchen from Wednesday.

A massive thank you to everyone who’s checked in and sent messages — it genuinely means a lot.

Turns out kicking commercial refrigeration equipment isn’t covered under chef training.

See you Wednesday.
