It's the one you've been waiting for.. It's Hoedown day! 🤠🍻

A few quick reminders...

🌵 Garden entry opens at 12pm for ticket holders (please don't arrive before as we won't be able to admit anyone)
🌵 A limited number of tickets will be available on the gate from 1pm
🌵 Keep your confirmation email handy for the door
🌵 Feel free to bring a camping chair or picnic blanket if you'd like to grab a spot in the garden
🌵 Our free minibus will be running throughout the day (check our previous post for the timetable)
🌵 Our card machines can slow down when we're really busy, so if you can bring some cash too, we'd really appreciate it

And if you've got a cowboy hat hiding somewhere, today feels like a good excuse to wear it 😉

💷 If you can, we'd recommend bringing a little cash with you. Our card machines should be fine, but with a big crowd they can occasionally be a little slower, so it's always handy to have both options.

Our free 17-seater minibus will be running to and from Horsmonden and Paddock Wood throughout the day. Please check our post from last Saturday for the full timetable.

If you're driving, we'd really appreciate it if you could car share where possible to help us make the most of our parking. If our main and overflow car parks fill up, don't worry, we've even got an overflow overflow car park. Just take care driving over as it's up a fairly steep hill!

🤠 Just a few bits of information ahead of tomorrow’s Hoedown…

Firstly, thank you to everyone who has bought tickets. We genuinely can’t believe the response, and we’re looking forward to seeing you all.

If you already have a ticket, you’ll be able to enter the garden from 12pm.

For anyone who hasn’t got a ticket, we’ll have a limited number available on the gate from 1pm when the event officially starts.

Please don’t panic if you haven’t booked. We’ll do everything we can to accommodate everyone and will only stop admitting people if we genuinely reach a point where we have to.

One final thing - nobody will be able to enter the garden before 12pm, so please don’t arrive too early.

We can’t wait to welcome you all for what promises to be a fantastic day!

WOW… We honestly didn’t expect this!

Our Hoedown has sold out online but we will be keeping some tickets available on the day at the door - please see below.

As a small family-run pub, we’re absolutely blown away by the support you’ve shown us. Thank you to everyone who has bought a ticket - we can’t wait to welcome you!

We will be keeping a limited number of tickets available on the door for those who haven’t managed to book. However, we cannot guarantee entry, as once we reach our capacity we won’t be able to admit any more guests.

If you’re planning to take your chances on the day, we’d recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment.

We know this isn’t ideal, but our priority is making sure everyone who attends has a safe and enjoyable day.

Thank you all for your understanding and for supporting our pub. We can’t wait to see you on Saturday! 🤠

Due to popular demand, our free minibus is back for the Halfway Hoedown next Saturday 25th July... And this time, we've upgraded to a 19 seater 😏

That's twice the seats which means twice as many lifts to and from Horsmonden and Paddock Wood.

As always, the ride is completely free. If you'd like to leave our lovely driver a tip to say thank you, it would be very much appreciated ☺️
