Oh dear looks like summer is over ! Although those high temperatures are a nightmare to all cake makers !
So tonight as we listen to the rain pouring down I bring you a buttercream

This was a large pretty cake. Made from vanilla sponge with raspberry preserves and vanilla buttercream. The flowers are all made from sugarcraft and went right around the cake . This was a tall cake with a cake card halfway through so you can cut two rounds of slices getting plenty of portions from the cake.

Tv’s Gladiators is a popular show with the mids and adults alike.
This cake was a chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream, double height giving double the portions of a normal height cake. These are also popular and can be make most sizes, just remember it need to be taller than wide to create the “tall” look , but suitable for any occasion
