While we pride ourselves on providing excellent food and services, we do not want to forget that we are still an establishment for those that want to just come and relax over a bottle of wine, soft-drink, cup of coffee or one of our finest Cask Ales. We are the perfect venue to host your private functions. We can seat up to 80 for a sit down meal and up to 150 for more informal get togethers. Menus for larger functions will be available on request. The Royal Oak welcomes families and those that simply want a simple meal out. We have a large, seated patio and designated smoking area to the front. We also offer free WiFi to all of our customers

The hospitality sector has come together to launch – a united campaign and petition calling for hospitality VAT to be reduced from 20% to 10%.

Spearheaded by chef and publican Tom Kerridge, we’re working alongside trade bodies across the sector, such as and , hospitality communities like , and you, businesses across hospitality, to say 10% VAT is fair for hospitality.

Our sector pays too much tax, and VAT is the single biggest lever the Government can pull to support venues, our customers, our high streets and our local communities.
