Happy Happy New Year One & All! 🥳🥂🍾🥂🥳

Since we didn’t post anything on Christmas Day as we were in New York taking this photo…come to think of it, I’ve not posted in a long while….I thought I’d better post tonight to wish each & everyone of you a very healthy & happy #2026 from Thomas & I.
#2025 was a bit of an odd one for us.
We gained new wholesale & pub customers, cut down on events with , changed the opening hours of The Mussel Pod, went to Iceland, France, Cornwall & The States, lost dear friends of Thomas’s, Sarah got a different car & a new job so it was all change this year.
Wonder what #2026 will bring 🤷‍♀️
Whatever it brings, we just hope for a healthy one for you & us 💞

And for those of who are going to ask….are you going live yet?
No, we’re not doing cheap live mussels yet as, as soon as we start doing that, we’re stuck doing it 7 days a week & Thomas wants a break before we start our winter season of restaurant & wholesale supplying.

I’ll put a post out on here when we’re ready so you’ll be the first to know 🤗🤗🤗 but….it won’t be until the end of September/start of October 👍🏻

WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY:

❌❌❌CLOSED TUESDAYS AS ALWAYS ❌❌❌

We are offering all The Mussel Pods favourites as usual as a takeaway so no seats & no toilets.
We are just a TAKE AWAY service for you to enjoy wherever you wish 🤗
We will provide everything you need so please don’t worry about bringing your own cutlery.

We are still taking cash, card, gold bars & silver bullion 👌🏻

We are starting our time being open in Norfolk in an absolutely sublime setting ☀️🥂🍾

This coming Friday, the 18th July, we will be serving all The Mussel Pods favourites along with a glass of sparkling English Wine at in Norwich.

What a way to spend a Friday evening than with our Brancaster mussels & a glass of English Fizz!

If you’ve been before, you know what I mean & you know what an absolutely stunning location this is.

For us, working for this weekend where we’ll be at started on Tuesday with heading up the mussel beds & then waiting on the tides to enable us to riddle our before getting them into our purification tanks.
They were then taken out this morning & transferred into trays into our temperature controlled van Kevin….yes, the van is called Kevin because he behaves like “Kevin” from 🤣

Anyway, I don’t have a photo of Kevin fully loaded as we were busy getting everything ready & needed to get ourselves on the road down to Lymington pronto.

Thank god Kevin has air con though eh! It’s gonna be another scourichio weekend! 😎🍻🍹
