JOB OPPORTUNITY – GLASS COLLECTOR

The Brewery Tap is looking for a glass collector from September.

This is a busy, fast-paced environment, so you’ll need to be quick on your feet and hardworking.

Fridays: 9pm – 1am
Saturdays: 9pm – 1am
Some Sundays may be available if needed (hours may differ)

Must be aged 16 or over.

🌟 RIGHT… TUESDAY RANT! 🌟

This one gets me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. 😂
The comments on Facebook: “Is this AI?”
“Why are you using AI?” 🤦‍♀️

Well… let’s put it out there! 😂

The majority of businesses and establishments are now using AI in some form. Why? Because it’s easy, cost-effective, time-saving, and yes… it can make a pretty decent poster! 😜 And most importantly for us little businesses… there are free options!

Running a business isn’t just about what happens when the doors are open. There’s a whole world of work going on behind the scenes — admin, stock, cleaning, ordering, accounts, social media, planning, events… the list goes on and on! 😴

So if I can use a little app on my phone to turn TWO HOURS of poster-making into TEN MINUTES, then YES… I’m absolutely going to do it! 🙌😂

Because let’s face it, we’re all busy. There simply aren’t enough hours in the day without adding another two hours on just to make a bloody poster! 🤣

So instead of commenting “Is this AI?”, why not just appreciate what a business is actually advertising and the work they’re doing to keep their business going? 💜

AI doesn’t run our businesses. People do.
AI is just another tool in the toolbox. 🛠️🤖

Anyway… rant over! 😂

My fellow pub-goers… WHAT. A. WEEK! 😂🙌 You lot have absolutely smashed it!

🎱 Monday – Free pool & free jukebox… because apparently we like giving things away! 😂🎶

🧠 Tuesday – Quiz night… some brains were switched on, some were clearly still buffering! 🤣

🎤 Wednesday – Open Mic Night and WOW! 🤩 We saw some amazing people get up and show us their talents. What a night! 👏🎶

🍻 Thursday – Just a good old ordinary evening with all you lovely lot… sometimes that’s exactly what the doctor ordered!

🎸 Friday – Silverthorn hit the stage and they were ACE! 🔥🎶

🕺 Saturday – Vagabond took over and had everyone up dancing! 💃🍻 Safe to say the dance floor got more exercise than most of us do all year! 😂

🍺 Sunday – A more steady one with our lovely regulars… because even pub legends need a recovery day! 😴😂
