Cafe 83

Today was my last day as owner of Eighty-Three. The new owners have exciting plans for 83 Poole Road so keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks.

I just want to say thank you to everyone that has supported the cafe over the last 3.5 years. I have loved serving you coffee and sharing my cakes with you all.

It’s with a heavy heart that I say goodbye but it was time for me to start a new chapter.

The love and praise I have received over the last few years for the cakes and brownies that I have personally baked for the cafe has been incredible and has made the many hours spent baking them worthwhile. I never expected that anyone would love my cakes as much as they seemed to in a million years. I’ll cherish the reviews and feedback always.

Thank you for your support. I’ll miss Westbourne with all my heart but wish the new owners all the luck in the world.

Customers of Cafe 83 might already be aware that we lost a close friend of mine in an accident when we were hiking in November. Our goal for the year is to raise money for Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team starting with a raffle. The prizes are pretty epic, many from local businesses with more being added each day. Tickets are £10 and are flying out!

We aim to raise awareness and vital funding for this team of unbeliveble volunteers, who came to our assistance and supported us throughout the rescue on Crib Goch. We can not thank them enough for their professionalism, compassion and all out kindness during and after the awful and heartbreaking accident in North Wales. You never think you will need to call on the Emergency Services, until its your only option!
