🌈❤️ OUR CHOSEN CHARITY HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED! ❤️🌈

We are absolutely delighted to announce that our chosen charity is now officially live… Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People! 💙

This is such a special cause, and we are hoping to make a real difference to the lives of seriously ill children and young people, as well as supporting the families who are going through so much.

🌈 A little about Rainbows Hospice

Rainbows is a not-for-profit charity supporting children, young people and their families across the East Midlands. They provide care in their hospice, in hospitals and in the comfort of families' own homes.

Their incredible work includes:
💙 Palliative and end-of-life care.
💙 Therapies and specialist support.
💙 Short breaks, giving families precious time together to rest, make memories and enjoy special moments.
💙 Support for brothers and sisters, who also need care and understanding during difficult times.

The work they do is truly amazing, and we are so proud to be supporting them. ❤️

⛰️ NOW FOR OUR BIG CHALLENGE! ⛰️

On Tuesday 12th January 2027, myself and the team here at The Mill will be taking on an incredible 8-mile hike up Mam Tor Great Ridge! 🥾💪

We are swapping our usual surroundings for the great outdoors, putting ourselves to the test and pushing through together — all to raise money for this fantastic charity!

It won't necessarily be easy, but knowing that we are doing it for such a worthwhile cause will make every step count. ❤️

✨ INTRODUCING CAITLIN! ✨

We’d like to introduce you all to the newest member of The Mill family — Caitlin, our new Trainee Manager! 🥰

Caitlin has fitted into The Mill absolutely perfectly. She has fantastic customer service skills, is a complete natural with people, and is always willing to muck in and help wherever she’s needed. ❤️

As The Mill continues to grow and get busier, Caitlin will be working closely alongside me and helping me with the day-to-day running of the business. I’m really looking forward to seeing her grow into her new role and become an important part of our team.

And she’s no stranger to The Mill either… she’s been around us for quite some time and already knows the place, the people and the madness very well! 😂

She also happens to have a very close relationship with our second head chef… 👀😉

✨ MY BOOTHS ARE COMPLETE! ✨

Sometimes you have an idea in your head, a vision of exactly how you want something to look… and then you find someone who can take that vision and turn it into something even better than you imagined. ❤️

I want to say a massive thank you to Richard Garner from Fen & Pheasant.

I had a vision for the new booths at The Mill, and Richard completely brought it to life. He has built these from scratch, with so much talent, care and attention to detail, and I honestly couldn’t have chosen anybody else to do them.

Richard, you are an incredibly talented man, and I am so grateful for everything you have created for us. These booths are going to be a huge part of The Mill for many years to come, and every time I look at them, I’ll know exactly who made my vision a reality.

My forever thankfulness to you. ❤️

🌸 Our trophy has finally arrived! 🌸

This week, we finally received the trophy for the Best Floral Display award that we were so proud to win back in April! 🏆

This award wouldn't have been possible without my amazing parents, who carefully choose our flowers every single year. But the biggest thank you has to go to this gentleman, Martin, who lovingly looks after them and keeps them looking absolutely beautiful throughout the season.

Martin, your hard work, dedication and care never go unnoticed. You help make The Mill look its very best, and we're incredibly grateful for everything you do.

🚧 Exciting things are happening at The Mill! 🚧

As many of you will have noticed, our brand-new front outdoor project is really starting to take shape, and we can't wait to show you the finished result!

To celebrate, we've got something special lined up...

🤠 Saturday 29th August | 7:00pm 🤠

We're thrilled to welcome the marvellous Nancy-Elyn, who'll be performing live here at The Mill with an evening of fantastic country music! 🎶

It's set to be a brilliant night, so make sure you pop it in your diary and come along for a great atmosphere, great music, and a great evening with us.
