A new beer here at the Corbie Inn is Midas from North Pier Brew Co. all the way from Sunderland. A 4% golden ale which won SIBA’s National Cask Session Pale Ale Gold award for 2026.
We wonder if this has been the first time it’s been served through a Scottish tall fount?

We still have some tickets available for our Comedy Night on Friday the 19th of June. Yes we know Scotland have a game on that night but it doesn’t start till 11, the show will finish by 10.30 at the latest, so you’ll have plenty of time to get home!

One of our customers Kerry McMillan has just had her book published and it is available from Inkspot & Silverleaf Booksellers, Bo'ness in South Street.

Do you think the kids had a great time this afternoon/evening in the beer garden?

There were quite a few parents joining in a game of “peevers”!
It was great to see the youngsters enjoying traditional games.

Good afternoon folks!
Two of our regulars very kindly brought us back a bottle of this French beer from their holiday in the Dordogne. Bier du Corbeau is a bit of an animal at 9%.
Corbeau being the French word for a crow probably had some linguistic influence on the Scots word Corbie dating back to the Auld Alliance.
