Alright, lovely lot! 👋 Just a quick heads-up that we're nipping off for a family holiday to recharge the batteries! 🔋 Voongs Restaurant will be closed from Monday 7th April until Wednesday 23rd April while we have a well-deserved break. We'll be back, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, ready to serve you all again from Thursday 24th April.

With Christmas and the New Year nearly upon us, the Voongs family and staff wanted to wish all our customers a very Merry Christmas. We hope everyone has an incredible festive season and a joyous New Year.

During the next two weeks, Voongs will be closed on the 25th & 26th December 2024, along with the 1st & 2nd January 2025.

If you're planning to order a takeaway or eat in with us over this festive period, then please remember, we will be busy and no doubt wait times maybe a little longer but we'll do everything possible to serve everyone.

Hello friends, We're taking a family break to rejuvenate! Voongs Restaurant will be closed from Monday March 11th to Wednesday March 27th as our family enjoys a well-earned holiday and takes a trip back to Vietnam. We'll be back, fully refreshed and ready to serve you all at the end of the month.

Good Evening Everyone. Alfie, Lisa and the entire Voongs family would like to take this moment to thank you all for your kind words of support through this difficult time. It means so much to us all, that our customers, many of you friends for many years, have left such lovely messages and for that we are so grateful.🥰

On happier news, we can announce that as from tomorrow night, Voongs Chinese Restaurant will open as normal. No doubt, this will bring it's own challenges as we work hard to cater for everyone that had a table cancelled and for those of you that have just missed us.🤣
Please be mindful that we will be extremely busy. As always, booking will only be taken over the phone, as I simply love my paper diary. We know this may cause some frustration as we man the phones and serve but please be patient. We are looking forward to opening and seeing everyone, Thanks again for the support and see you soon.

Apologies to those customers that may have bookings next week but due to an unexpected family bereavement we will be closing the restaurant for approximately 10 days. If you have a booking and we haven't called you, please ring the restaurant number.

Again, sorry for any inconvenience, it's unusual we close our doors, so we hope you'll respect our decision to close for this short period time. We will open again once we have had time to deal with our family loss.

We're reaching that time of year when Summer Holiday's commence. The Voongs' family will also be taking a rest and therefore the restaurant will be closing. Last night, we celebrated our 30th Anniversary and what a brilliant evening it was for all The Voongs family. We would like to thank, not only those they joined us in our celebrations last night but all our customers that have supported us through those 30 years. Obviously, the last few years have been the toughest by far but we're still here, and that is only possible with your support. From all the Voongs family, A Huge Thank You!

We can also confirm that last night's charity donations for Willen Hospice Milton Keynes raised a further £1,360 - your generosity continues to help our community.

Unfortunately, due to a member of staff testing positive, the restaurant will have to close immediately but we will reopen next Tuesday as normal. Alfie will contact as many people as possible that already have a booking this week. however, if you haven't received a call by close of business tomorrow, could you please contact Alfie on 07774 850964.

Throughout this pandemic, with strict procedures we've managed to remain virus free and have been extremely lucky to remain open. It's caught up with us at last but this will only be a quick procautionary closure.
