What a FABULOUS weekend we’ve had on the Prom 🤯🔥

We welcomed all the visitors from the 70th Annual Coach Rally — you anorak… you know who you are 👀🚌

The town was buzzing with all the glamorous Ballroom & Latin dance competitors over at the Winter Gardens Blackpool 💃🕺

Saturday night? Oh nothing major… just Diversity casually blowing the roof off ⚡
We tried to copy the moves in the kitchen… HR has asked us to stop.

AND THEN… as if that wasn’t enough…
Our mothership Michael Wan's Mandarin welcomed James Acaster —
We fed him so much he achieved Level 10 Food Coma 🤣

Honestly… we’ve aged 3 years in 2 days.

So yes… we are CLOSED Monday (emotionally and physically) 😅
Back Tuesday, recharged, rehydrated and ready for round two 💪

Thanks for the madness — same again next weekend? 👀❤️

It was great to meet James Acaster tonight when he popped in after his gig in
What a lovely guy, it was nice to talk with him, he has a genuine interest in food and was nice to hear of his travels around the country. We wish him luck with the rest of his tour and with his Off Menu podcast.

It was great to see Blackpool featured by VisitEngland last week, for their 'Ultimate Short Break' article.

It was even better to see Wok Inn in their list of destinations; described as much-loved, succulent Pan-Asian cuisine :-)

We hope it bring new visitors to Blackpool and new customers to our little restaurant!

🌸 Mother’s Day is blooming at the restaurant! 🌸

Kevin Smith, our chief restaurant event organiser, has absolutely kicked it out of the park again with this year’s Mother’s Day decorations.

The dining room has been transformed into a beautiful & fun place with lanterns and colour — the perfect setting to spoil Mum with great food, a little Prosecco, and the people she loves most.

Kevin always says “details make the experience”… and we think he might be right.

Now all that’s left is for you to bring Mum and enjoy it. 💐

Chef immediately looked nervous. 😳

Next thing we know:
📞 Emergency call to the veg man
🥬 Cabbage delivered SAME DAY!
🧤 Marigolds on
🔥 Pauline in full kimchi production mode

This photo might not be Pauline’s best look…
…but when it comes to protecting the reputation of our kimchi, she means business.

Because around here, average kimchi simply isn’t acceptable.

So if you’re wondering why the kitchen smells incredible today…
