🪂 WE’RE JUMPING OUT OF A PLANE! 🪂

What for? - RNLI Blackpool

So, I have always wanted to sky dive and what better reason than to raise money at the same time. We work literally on the sea daily, we witness all the hard work and dedication that goes into being an RNLI volunteer - it makes perfect sense to raise some money for our lifeboats! 🚤

Working on the Pier really puts life into perspective when we see these guys & gals training week in and week out, taking time out of their lives to be on call 24 hours a day, risking their lives for others - all voluntarily. I honestly think all the volunteers at the RNLI don’t get enough recognition in this country! This charity is close to home and they help the lives of hundreds yearly! 🙌🏼

If you would like to donate, we have collection boxes at the Wheelhouse Cafe on Central Pier. For anyone who wants to bank transfer, please message me and I will give you my account details. 100% DONATIONS WILL BE GIVEN TO THE RNLI in Blackpool. We haven’t started a funding page, as we want all proceeds to go to the charity.)

We're hiring!!

Duties will include
To serve customers with a smile and in a polite and respectful manner
To use the tills and computer software competently
To handle money via cash and card purchases
To safely use the coffee machines
To be able to maintain and restock the relevant stock when necessary
To carry out the daily cafe and cleaning duties
To work in the kitchen when needed and carry out any pot washing
You must be able to work within a small team, carry out duties and maintain a high level of performance whilst adhering to all the regulations and health and hygiene rules that go hand in hand with a clean and safe environment.
Within this role, you will be required to help assist a busy kitchen whilst preparing and cooking food from our Cafe menu.
Experience in a cafe role would be desirable but not essential as full training is given.
Be confident, assertive, and of a responsible nature.
Have an outgoing and positive can-do attitude.
Be adaptable to change and be able to work well within a small team.
Have the ability to think quickly, react calmly to situations, and show initiative.
